LESSON TIMES

On Sunday & Monday mornings, if you could arrive 15 minutes before the start of your lessons, it would be most appreciated!
KIDS GROUP LESSONS
Children’s ski garden specialist
During the first few days, all the instructors work together. The groups are not assigned straight away. Your children will be with the whole team rather than with one specific instructor.
As each child progresses, groups will be formed according to their needs: those who are ready to head onto the slopes quickly, those who are feeling nervous and need extra reassurance, and those who will continue in the beginner area. Groups may change over time, as our goal is to ensure that every child is always in the group best suited to both their skiing ability and their confidence. Some children may prefer to spend an extra morning in the ski garden to feel completely comfortable before going onto the slopes, while others will be eager to head out as soon as possible, even if they’re only just ready!
For the other children’s lessons
The instructors will welcome you in front of the flag corresponding to your lesson, with a name list. To ensure balanced groups, these may change during the week depending on each child’s progress, technical ability and confidence. The aim is for everyone to ski in the group that best matches their development.
The Medal Ceremony
On Friday, 15 minutes before the end of the lesson, we invite you to the medal ceremony. A friendly moment to celebrate your child’s progress, chat with their instructor and share the end of this wonderful week of skiing together.
Snack Time
Every day, around mid-morning, your child will be offered a break: a hot chocolate will be provided during this relaxing moment. You can leave a snack for them in a bag; lockers are available inside the chalet.
ADULT GROUP LESSONS
Instructors will be waiting for you with a list in front of the flag corresponding to your lesson. Very often, there are more than 8 people at the same level, so several instructors may be assigned to your level. Depending on each person’s progress and in order to keep groups balanced, it is not unusual for the instructor to ask you to move to a higher or lower level group.
ADULT BEGINNERS SPECIAL
- Possibility to arrive in après-ski boots and put your ski boots on inside our “Les Planches” chalet.
- Prosneige teams are available to assist you if you have any difficulties getting equipped.
- Ski poles are not needed on the first day.
- Groups are formed according to each person’s progress.
PRIVATE LESSONS
The meeting point is in front of the green sign on the snow front, in front of the ski school terrace.
Nathan or Charlotte, the managers, will be there to welcome you and introduce you to your instructor!
DURING THE WEEK
You will receive a text message at the end of the first day to check your satisfaction.
We call back all dissatisfied clients to understand their concerns and find a solution. Please do not hesitate to use this number if you have any questions.
SKI PASS
The local VAL THORENS/ORELLE ski pass is sufficient.
For higher levels, we recommend the extension.
The ski pass must be placed in the left pocket of your jacket or ski pants.
It is free for children under 5 years old (upon presentation of proof of age), but it is essential to collect it from the official SETAM office. It is forbidden to use the ski lifts without a valid pass (for insurance reasons).
