Climbing Course 11/13 years - 4 Days

Climbing Experience ‘Climb like a pro’ for 11 to 13 year olds. When: 4 Full Days during the weeks of the 17 th to 20 th & the 24 th to 27 th April in the Chamonix Valley. Each day will discover various climbing sites in the Valley: Les Gaillands (Chamonix), Les Bossons (Chamonix), Les Chavants (Les Houches). What they’ll learn: Confidence in finding their bearings on outdoor faces & begin to climb independently. Supervised by our Qualified Instructors. Learn how to handle ropes and the knots useful on multi-pitch routes. Preparation for an outdoor climbing route, how to choose the right equipment & evaluating risk. At the end of the experience: Your children will develop their physical climbing skills, confidence in their critical thinking skills & self-confidence. Mastering apprehension to successfully climb to a summit & return by abseiling. Good to know: In case of rainy weather, the courses will take place indoors at the Mont Blanc Escalade Climbing Centre in Les Houches.
