Best Ski Experience.We had 6 days of morning beginner classes. From start to finish the team were super friendly and welcoming. Our teacher Federico was so patient, instantly put us at ease and really adapted our classes depending on our abilities. The school is close to the slopes and being able to leave our ski’s there overnight was really handy.Couldn’t rate this ski school highly enough! Will definitely be coming back!

Haven’t skied for 25+ years and was very rusty. Luckily Luca was our ski school instructor. Luca was able to assess my friend and I, and instruct us both, even though we were at different levels. He was able to use different strategies and loads of encouragement to help us improve. He was super reliable and so lovely. Thanks Luca and Proneige.

Amazing ski school! I’ve had two days of private lessons, 2 hrs each day with lovely Tatiana. This lady helped me to get over my fear of skiing and made sure I have my confidence back. She was absolutely brilliant! Now I can’t wait to book another ski trip. I highly recommend the school!

No joke..Easily my favourite shop in Val D'isere!These guys were the best. So much fun even when we'd just met and it only got better each day. As it was my first time in Val D'isere I was kinda nervous. I tried pretending like I wasn't a complete novice but there was no need.They had great advice on what runs I could do each day. Really encouraging and easy to chat to. Honestly I looked forward to chatting to every member of staff. The week I was there I mostly chatted with Raphaël and Diane 🎿🏂👌🏔🚠Both had tons of local knowledge. Like if I wasn't sure where to go for a little lunch or a drink up the mountain they would be happy to suggest somewhere nice near routes that suited my ability.It's easy to see they enjoy living and working here. I was so happy to start and end my days with such good vibes. Oh and the music in the shop was always on point! 🎶🙃They take really good care of their equipment and helped me decide which board would suit me. Literally couldn't be closer to the lifts as well!P.s - if you end up needing socks, goggles, gloves etc they have lots of good quality equipment in store. 🧤🧦🥽

This place is fantastic. The staff are amazing and so helpful. I had a great lesson with Frederico who could not have been more patient as I hadn’t skied for a while. 10/10 and would definitely come back here next time I’m in Val d’Isere.

Proneige is an extremely professional and courteous ski school. Raphael who runs the operation was extremely helpful and flexible with our schedule and needs. We were visiting from the US for a week of skiing, and he provided us with the most amazing, kind, sweet and experienced guide, Loic Lorcher, for a full week of guided instruction in Val D'Isere, France. Loic is passionate about his work as a guide and instructor. He would work with my wife on I on how to improve our skiing by analyzing our skiing and helped strengthen our weakness by doing drills, taking videos of us skiing and studying them with us. Loic was patient and persistent in helping us elevate our skiing abilities, and we could not have had abetter experience. In addition he was so much fun to ski with. We are thankful for our time with Loic in Val D'isere.We could not recommend Loic and his team at Proneige enough!

I had the best time learning to ski with Gogo in Val D'isere! He took me from not being able to stand on my skis to being able to traverse down after taking a chair lift in 3 days. He was incredibly patient and great fun. As a group we didn't realise he was slowly edging us out of our comfort zones until we were basically at the top of a hill. During the lessons I felt very safe and was confident enough after my three lessons to attempt a full green run. Couldn't recommend him more for a first time skier and I enjoyed my holiday so much more for having the lessons.

Amazing ski school!! Raphael and Diane are warm, fun, knowledgable and incredibly professional. Our kids could not have been happier at the ski school. The staff in the office was so well organized, they had all the equipment waiting for them and also stored it every evening. They also remembered which shoes belonged to which child, which made leaving the school in the evening super simple and efficient. All the instructors at the school were great with the kids and our kids progressed significantly in their skiing during their one week attendance. The kids were excited to go to ski school every day and the location of the school is very convenient as it is at the bottom of the ski lifts. Raphael and Diane were always available for any equipment advice or fix we needed on our personal equipment. We will be returning to Val D’Isere just to enroll our kids into Prosneige again!!

We had the best experience with prosneige. We booked online. The shop is perfectly located for ski in ski out and being able to leave your skis and boots at the shop every day and walk home in your regular shoes was a real treat. The staff were outstanding, so friendly and welcoming, we looked forward to calling in and having the chats. We would highly recommend Prosneige and we will definitely be using their services for our next visit to Val D’Isere.

Booked ski school and some private tuition for my family at late notice, and they did not disappoint!The Prosneige team is on hand each morning to assist the children to put their ski boots and get ready for their classes! They also assist when the lessons are finished, and store your boots for the following day. I booked the adults beginner class for the week while staying in VT. This was my first time skiing and thanks to the fantastic instructor and all of the kind staff at Prosneige I cannot wait to come back again!! I left at the end of the week feeling confident with my skiing and overall had the best time, every minute of the class was enjoyable. Plus my group were all so friendly and everyone was there to help one another. My daughter Evie warmed slowly to ski school but her instructors Luca and Emilie were terrific. Emilie had lunch with Evie each day and looked after her very well. She was skiing by day 4. Would definitely recommend.

We had Milan as our instructor. He was a really good teacher and completely adapted to our needs and matched our expectations. Additionally we had some miscommunication regarding the place of where we would start the classes and the school dealt with it outstandingly. Really good experience will come back next season

I absolutely recommend this ski school. Prosneige and Huge(my ski instructor) were great in all aspects. Last year I took classes from ESF (in another ski resort) so just because of the familiarity, I initially considered them. However, ESF showed no flexibility for private lessons (e.g: timings, starting location, etc), so I came across Prosneige and I’m very happy that I did. To start with, they were super responsive and much more flexible before and during the entire experience. The lessons were also great! Huge was super attentive and he really helped me improve my skiing skills (for reference last year I completed Class 2 with ESF) and now after taking 2x2 hours of lessons with Huge my skiing looks much more advanced! He really helped me with pointing out my improvement areas and gave me exercises and pointers very specific to my needs. He even took videos to show and make me realize even more clearly my improvement areas and progress. After the lessons my entire group noticed the improvement! So very happy overall and next time I’ll go skiing I’m sure to come back to Prosneige!

Loads of ski shops but 3 people that made the difference:1. Arthur (instructor) the guy is an absolute legend, I was able to skii by the end of our first lesson. He is charismatic, funny and encouraging - also a brilliant teacher and skier of note! Because of him I'll be returning for many ski seasons to come! If he is available, don't hesitate in taking a couple lessons minimum - 2 days and I was off on the blue slopes, thought I'd always welcome another lesson.2. Titaum (ski rental) the dude is super caring and contentious, he takes care in measuring the right equipment that fits (knowing the inside out of different Brands). Always willing to lend a hand after either before skiing as a first timer putting in boots or after a long day when your arms are going to fall off - helping to remove them!3. Alexi (front of house) the lady was great, funny and full of energy to help. Nothing was too much effort and despite complications with yeti she found a solution quickly with little effort required from me.All together these three people made then process of renting easy, learning a dream and having a great experience very very possible. I took my time writing this as I'd recommend prostiniege over the many many other schools and ski lockers as the staff made my experience exceptional. Also the equipment is top notch.

I had my private snowboard lesson for 2 hours with the instructor Giacomo yesterday. It was amazing. He helped me improve my skill on saving energy and relaxing riding, also made me build on more confidence when riding alone or with friends. After lesson, I could ride with friends on red slopes with more confidence and long hours. The whole lesson was so enjoyable!! Highly recommended.

I went here recently looking for some ski essentials. I don’t know a whole lot about skiing but Marc Antoine was so knowledgeable and told me everything that I needed to know. He helped us get exactly what we needed for the slopes. Also if you need to get your skis fitted, you have to come here and talk to Marc Antoine because I have never felt more comfortable in a pair of skis. He’s the best for the job. Thank you!

Prosneige guides teach you skills! Compared to other ski schools, where the guides just procalamte several times the same "explanation", the Prosneige finds a way to make you understanding the explanation. Even I am the one didn’t get any idea to play with snowboard but finally I got to enjoy how to snowboarding. It’s wonderful experience been there.

As a mature first time skier (or snow plougher) and a very nervous one at that, I have had the best week with the prosneige ski school . I started in a group of 10 beginners but as a slow learner (along with 3 others )the school accommodated us and found another tutor to allow us to progress at our pace without holding anyone back. As a result I have been challenged ( but not too much) and have found a confidence and love for a sport I never dreamt I would indulge in . I would happily recommend them to friends family and strangers....

A huge thank you to Alberto at Val Thorens (7-14 Apr )from Veronica and Vanessa. Alberto gave them snowboard group lessons and girls had a great time and done amazingly well . Just had a fabulous week in Les Menuires. Our two kids aged 7 and 6 had an excellent experience with Robbie who made their first week on real snow fantastic. They loved her and also the snow. Top skischool! Onze dochter heeft fantastisch les gekregen. Zij is 3,5 jaar en heeft met de leraren Andrea en Tom super veel geleerd en dat met erg veel plezier! De eerste ervaring voor een kind is toch heel belangrijk, zij vindt het nu echt geweldig om te skiën! Andrea heeft veel geduld, maakt plezier en is een professional! Really impressed with Prosneige. Thanks for looking after both my girls in ski school. They had a fab time and improved so much in their week with you. Have used ESF before but Prosneige instructors were so much more child friendly and fun and really made an huge effort with my 3 yr old who was not keen on me leaving her every morning, but returned every lunch time with a huge grin on her face. Wat een super goede ski school me zoontje met adhd heeft er een top week gehad. Na wat uitleg en tips hoe met hem om te gaan is het echt super gegaan. Hij is daar hele dagen geweest en heeft veel geleerd en in de middag heerlijk gespeeld en erg lekker gegeten. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug. Jullie zijn dan ook echte toppers

Private or group lessons?
To guarantee a fun atmosphere and favour personalised feedback, group lessons are limited to 10 people maximum. Private lessons are particularly adapted to skiers wanting more personalised advice. For children, we organize a medal ceremony at the end of every week to reward them and validate the level acquired. This pleasant ceremony perfectly ends your holiday.
