SKI BRONZE - 6 afternoons

Skiing background : Your child has at least 7 weeks experience on the slopes. They can easily make parallel large turns on red slopes and master short turns on blue runs. They can manage to stop quickly in every situation. They know how to ski safely according to the Safe skier rules.
Goals of the week : First steps toward becoming a versatile skier. Perfecting control, carving and short turns on red slopes. Introduction to freestyle and how to behave in the snow park.

Week's program : On the first day, they will get to know their instructors and the other children of the Bronze Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize. The groups will be defined by the levels, age and wishes of the children. During the first half day your child will get their technique and confidence back. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrain that will help the children improve while having fun. These exercises will improve their posture on red and black slopes and different snow conditions. They will try out their first freestyle moves and park runs.

Hours : Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 16:30, then from the 5th February 14:00 to 17:00.
More : The Bronze ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. The traditional medal awarding ceremony takes place on Fridays, in front of the Ski School.

Remarks : Don't forget their ski-pass for the chairlifts, a snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!
