2ND SKI - 6 afternoons

Skiing background : Your children has skied in between 2 and 4 weeks. They are confident on blue slopes and start to turn parallel.
Goals of the week : Make parallel turns on blue slopes, master the side slipping technique, anticipate ground movements and be able to do some skating to move around. Ski with poles without them to be a struggle.

Week's program : On the first day, your child will meet the instructors and the other children of the group in front of Prosneige ski school la croisette (next to the medical center). All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a blue slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back on easy slopes. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Those exercises will facilitate their parallel turns on blue slopes. Regarding the evolution, they will get introduced to red slopes. They will speak more in depth of the Safe skiers rules.

Hours : Sunday to Friday from 14.30 to 16.30.
More : The 2nd ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. They can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot chocolat in our ski school. The traditional medal awarding ceremony is taking place on fridays, under the 2nd ski meeting point flag.

Remarks : Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!
