Group or Private Lessons
How to Choose
Group or Private Lessons? Not sure on how to choose the best Lessons for your group? You’ll find all the differences between the lesson options below, as well as advice from our Instructor Team.
GROUP LESSONS
Our Group Ski & Snowboard Lessons organised by level and take place over several days. You can choose mornings, afternoons or full days (morning + afternoon).
As a guide, our 6 morning group lesson will take place from Sunday to Friday and Lesson Times change slightly in each of our resorts:
Val Thorens, Les Menuires & Meribel – Sunday 10h00-12h00, Monday to Friday 09h00-12h00
Val d’Isere – Sunday to Friday 09h00-12h00
Our Group Lessons are perfect for meeting new friends, quick progression and exploring the resort. With small groups, you’ll also get a more personalised lesson experience.
Don’t forget that in Val Thorens & Les Menuires, we have our Little Bear group for children aged 3 & 4 years old and we have Lunch Club to add onto all of our Kids Group Lessons.
Why choose Group Lessons:
– We love sharing our passion for the mountains with our Group Lessons. No matter whether it’s your first snow experience, gaining confidence, perfecting those parallel turns or pushing their limits on more advanced terrain. Fun and safety is paramount.
– Small Group Sizes – 6-8 participants per Instructor (Resort specific)
– Group Lessons work out less expensive per hour, than Private Lessons & take priority in mornings over the busy holiday weeks.
Note: It is always possible to change groups depending on progress after the 1st or 2nd lesson.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private Lessons are perfect for skiers and snowboarders seeking a more bespoke lesson option. Maximise your time on the slopes with one of our qualified instructors, 100% dedicated to your goals and progression.
Private Lesson Advantages:
– All levels of skiers & snowboarders are catered for with our private lessons. Whether you are starting your snow adventure, honing your technique or discovering off-piste. Above all, our instructors will be at your side to ensure your safety & progress.
– Our Instructors can recommend the best coffee & lunch stops, as well as the best slopes for your level.
Private Lesson Disadvantages:
– Private lessons are more often more expensive than group lessons.
– If there are several in your group of either different levels or skiing & snowboarding. You may need more than one instructor.
– Morning Private Lessons are our most expensive, our group lessons also take priority in the busy holiday weeks, so they may not be available.
