Discover our rental + ski lesson preferential Ski Pack: Skis, Boots and Poles included. These are very easy to handle skis and forgiving of regular quality. Good for beginners and beginner plus skiers, 2* skis have limited grip with speed. These skis are suitable for a leisurely practice at low speed. Depending on your progression you may feel more comfortable on higher quality skis.

Prosneige School Alpe d'Huez
1ST SKI - 1 afternoon
<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has between 1 and 3 weeks of skiing already. They know how to snowplough turn and stop on green and blue slopes. They can also get up on their own after a fall, and move around using the side stepping technique or the duck climb. They were also introduced to the parallel position on flat terrain. <br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Learning the first steps of parallel turns such as parallel crossings and side slipping on easy green and blue slopes. Challenge their balance on a bumpy course. Discover the Safe skiers rules and respect them. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the 1st Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a green slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. As the week goes on, they will practice with different exercises to achieve their weekly goal and gain confidence skiing on blue slopes. Ski poles will be introduced to them during the week.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The 1st ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. They can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony takes place on Fridays, in front of the ski school. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

PRO RIDER BRONZE - 6 afternoons
<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has more than 10 weeks of experience under their skis. They are comfortable on all kind of slopes with small and large turns. They know the different ski disciplines and have been introduced to some of them.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Develop new technical skills on the slopes, deepen their knowledge of the snowpark, make changes of rhythm on varied terrain while maintaining control. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, the skiers get to know their instructors and the other children in the Pro-rider level. The groups start together, warm up on skis and then harmonize. The groups will be divided according to the children's ability, age and desires. During the first half day, your child will get back on track with technical exercises set up by the instructor. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on the fact of evolving in safety in the resort in order to gain autonomy. Develop expert skills, such as skiing on one ski, in reverse, without poles...and perfecting the techniques learned during the previous weeks of skiing. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Pro Rider ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. The Alpe d’Huez is situated on a fully south-facing plateau at 1860 m above sea level, and its skiable area enjoys maximum exposure to the sun. So enjoy a day’s skiing in the sun: up to 7 1/2 hours a day of sun in December, up to 11 hours a day in April. The French Weather Bureau has recorded an average of 300 days’ sunshine a year at the resort! Also, on a fine day, you can see 1/5e of France from Pic Blanc.
