Prosneige at Alpe d'Huez

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong> You have between 2 & 5 weeks of experience. You already know how to ski parallel on blue slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Improve your parallel turns with vertical movement, start skiing on red runs. Learn how to anticipate terrain movements, how to ski without wasting your energy. Move around the resort integrating the flow of skiers and following the skier's rules.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group in front of our Prosneige Shop. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest some exercises to get back on your feet on blue runs. Over the course of the week and through exercises and repetition, you will integrate movement into your practice, using different techniques. Your turns become more fluid and require less effort. You gain confidence and skills to ski safely and autonomously on red runs.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 2 adult ski group lessons are limited to 8 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option of changing groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass is needed. Don't forget your sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Your experience :</strong> Not for complete beginners, it is recommended to have some experience in skiing first.<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong> Our instructors will safely guide you around and show you some of the best off-pistes in the area. They will adapt to your experience and the snow condition to safely try to meet your expectations. The instructor will prepare an itinerary and the safety equipment needed but also teaching you how to use this equpiment and the current safety rules that must be respected.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accomodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Backpacks with a set of safety equipment (avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes) are lent by the instructor. Ski-pass still needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong>Your child has more than 12 weeks of experience under their skis. They are comfortable on all types of terrain and would like to continue to improve their skills on the slopes and in the snowpark. They'll acquire more knowledge about off-piste skiing and how to practice it safely.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Progress in off-piste, sharpen their technique to be more versatile and deepen their knowledge of the mountain & snow conditions. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, the children get to know their instructors and the other Pro-rider participants. The groups start together, warm up on skis and then harmonize. The groups will be divided according to the children's ability, age and desires. During the first half day, your child will get back on track with the help of technical exercises set up by the instructor. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on evolving in safety on piste and off-piste. Refining their technical skills in order to have fun on all types of snow and terrain.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Gold Pro Rider ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and has the opportunity to change groups during the week. The traditional medal awarding ceremony takes place on Fridays, at our Ski School meeting point. </p><p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their ski-pass for the chairlifts, a snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen !<br></p>

<p><strong> Experience :</strong> Your child can control speed, turn using the toe and heel edge on green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Being able to do turns on blue slopes. Developing technique with vertical mouvement. Introduction to the snowpark, 180° slids and switch riding. Descovering more of the specific vocabulary of snowboarding. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard silver » Your children will meet the instructor and the rest of the group. After a quick check of their gear, they will start warming up on easy slops. The goal is to improuve your childrens turns to be able to ride bleues slopes. They will learn some more freestyle, flat tricks, 180 slides, switch and the ollie/nollie. The instructor can also introduce them to the snowpark. You will also work on the snowboard vocabulary.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> Improving carving turns on blue and red slopes. Learning some freestyle, flat tricks, 180° jump and switch. Introduction to the snowpark.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons take place from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Silver Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children (from 8 years old). Everybody progresses at their own pace and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>
