Prosneige at Méribel

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong>You have 5 to 10 weeks experience under your skis already. You are comfortable with your equipment. You ski with ease on red runs, parallel turns with vertical movement. You can control your speed and trajectory on all types of slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong>Linking turns with various radiuses, starting to ski on diverse terrain, refining carving technique. Introduction to off-piste skiing and its safety rules.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group in front of our Prosneige flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest some exercises to get back on your feet on blue and red runs. Over the course of the week and through exercises and repetition,You will refine your technique, discover new sensations, and share new experiences with your group. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice parallel turns on all types of trails. You will gain confidence and skills to move to the next level safely.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 3 adult ski group lessons are limited to 7 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option to change groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don’t forget your lift pass ! <br></p>

<p><strong> Experience :</strong> Beginner, this your child's first time snowboarding or they have just a couple of hours experience (or on dry slopes).<br> </p><p><strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Controlling speed with heel side or toe side skid and linking your turns on a green slope.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> Meet their instructor and the rest of the group. Their instructor will then explain how the gear works. Your child will do their first slides in a straight line in the beginners area. After getting familiar with the balance they will learn how to change directions. Falling is normal! So they’ll learn different tips on how to get up. During their progression they will discover which foot they have in front on the board (goofy or regular). Then learning how to control speed on the heel edge and how to cross the slope on the back and front side edge. Once they start getting comfortable with that they learn how to control speed on their toe edge. Practicing the transition between the toe and heel side positions to be able to link turns.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The Bronze Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 children (between 5 & 13 years old). Everybody progresses at their own pace and has the opportunity to change groups during the week. <br> </p><p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> You have never skied before or have skied just once, or a couple of hours on indoor or dry slopes. <br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discover the environment, and the ski gear. Move around skis on, with ease. Ski down green slopes using snowplough turns.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> Your week begins at our meeting point where you’ll meet your ski instructor and the group. You will then walk towards an easy part of the beginner area ( just a couple of meters from the meeting point ) where you’ll start your skiing journey. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice. With one ski on, then two. On a flat terrain, uphill, and finally, when you’re ready downhill. You’ll learn how to turn and stop, and take the moving carpet to get to the top of the slope. You will gain confidence and skills to get safely to the next level.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Morning Lessons: Sunday 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 12:00. Afternoon Lessons: Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Beginner group ski lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 adults. Everybody progresses at their own pace and you have the opportunity to change groups during the week. You can also enjoy some breaks . Group lessons are an excellent choice. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to improve the technical points of your skiing and to overcome the difficulties you encountered the day before. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget your beginner skipass, a snack to keep your energy level up and sunscreen!<br></p>

<p><strong>your instructor :</strong> You have chosen to take a private lesson with Emanuela FOLIS. Emanuela and the Prosneige team are looking forward to your arrival in Méribel. .<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong>Private lessons are an excellent way to make quick progress. You tell the instructor your goals and desires and he will create a personalized lesson plan for you. Whether you want to learn carving or snowplowing. You want to surpass yourself in off-piste, in the snowpark, or on a blue slope. You simply want to discover the 3 Valleys ski area alone or with your family for a day... You are in the right place. The instructor will guide you throughout the day and share with you his favorite exercices, itineraries in his playground.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> From 9:00am to 5:00pm depending on your wants and needs, you decide how long and what time suits you best.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accommodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>
