Prosneige at Méribel

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your 5 to 13 year old has never skied before or has had a few hours on an indoor slope.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discovering this new gear and environment, improving coordination, moving around with skis on the beginner slopes. Learning skills such as getting up, breaking the speed, stopping and do Snowplough turns on green slopes.<br> </p><p><strong>Weekly program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to discover the ski school. They will meet the instructors and the other children of the group. After a warm up, the group will get acquainted with the ski equipment practicing on different practice set ups. Without skis at first, then one ski on, and once they are ready, with both ! The children will be able to practice with their instructor on the beginner area. They’ll learn how to safely use the magic carpet lifts of the resort and might also take a chairlift ! By the end of the week, they will proudly show you their new skills on green slopes ! <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Morning Group Lessons are Sunday 10:00 to 12:00, then Monday to Friday 09:00 to 12:00; Afternoon Group Lessons are Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Brown Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and your child have the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony takes place on Friday in front of our Prosneige Ski School. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget you can also add Lunch Club to your booking (2 course Lunch & Acvtivites 12:00 to 14:00)and to put a snack in their pocket for the break and their teddys or binky if needed ! <br></p>

<p><strong>your instructor :</strong> You have chosen to take a private lesson with Alexandre PRE. Alexandre and the Prosneige team are looking forward to your arrival in Méribel. .<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong>Private lessons are an excellent way to make quick progress. You tell the instructor your goals and desires and he will create a personalized lesson plan for you. Whether you want to learn carving or snowplowing. You want to surpass yourself in off-piste, in the snowpark, or on a blue slope. You simply want to discover the 3 Valleys ski area alone or with your family for a day... You are in the right place. The instructor will guide you throughout the day and share with you his favorite exercices, itineraries in his playground.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> From 9:00am to 5:00pm depending on your wants and needs, you decide how long and what time suits you best.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accommodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>

<p><strong>Your Experience :</strong> You know how to turn frontside and backside on blue slopes.<br> </p><p><strong>Goals for the week :</strong> Discover carving turns, off piste, freestyle, 180° jumps and rails. Discover your first switch turns. Work on vertical movement and other technical aspects to improve your skills.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> Meet your instructor and the rest of the group and warm up on easy slopes. Then the goal is to improve your technique so you can ride down all kinds of terrain confidently & safely. Discover your first carving turns. You will do your first complete switch turns. Learn more complex tricks like 180’s and rails at the park. It’s also time to start riding all terrains and off-piste. Your instructor will explain how to adjust you gear depending on how you ride.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Morning Lessons: Sunday 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 12:00. Afternoon Lessons: Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The Gold Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 adults (from 13 years old). Everybody progresses at their own pace and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. <br> </p><p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget your ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child has more than 8 weeks of experience under their skis. They have control on all types of slopes, making large turns, and short turns on red runs. They know how to ski safely in the resort, respecting the Safe skier rules.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Be able to change the rhythm of their turns on a black slope, and enhance their carving technique. Evolve on varied terrain and link jumps in the snowpark. Always follows the safety rules on the slopes and is able to find their way around on a map, discussions about the "mountain culture".<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the Diamond Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize. They will be defined by the levels, age and wishes of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Throughout the week, the training will be focused on obtaining a more refined and efficient technique on all types of slopes and snow. The diversity of playgrounds will allow them to discover new sensations and improve while having fun. They practice skicross, learn techniques used in competitions, and continue to learn freestyle in the snowpark. They also acquire the vocabulary specific to each discipline and deepen their knowledge of ski and mountain culture.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (1st morning) lessons are from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday, morning lessons are from 9:00 to 12:00 <br> <strong>More :</strong> We also offer a Lunch Club at lunchtime, including a complete meal at the restaurant and activities Sunday to Friday 12:00 to 14:00. The group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and your child has the opportunity to change groups during the week.
