Prosneige at Méribel

<p><strong>Experience :</strong> Your child knows how to turn toe and heel side on blue slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Discover carving turns, off piste, freestyle, 180 jumps and rails. Discovering their first switch turns. Work on the vertical mouvement and other technical aspects to improuve skills.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The meeting point is at the top of the prosneige nursery slope at the black flag « snowboard gold ». After meeting the instructor and the rest of the group your child will warm up on easy slopes. Then the goal is to improuve their technic so they can ride down all kinds of terrain in safe way. The instructor will help them discover their first carving turns. Your children will do their first complet switch turns. The tricks will be more and more complex, like 180 jumps, rails at the park. It’s also time to start riding all terrains and off-piste. The instructor will expain on how to adjust gear depending on how you ride.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> The lessons are taking place from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The Gold Snowboard group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 children (from 8 years old). Everybody progresses at their own pace and have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in the pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Your experience :</strong> Not for complete beginners, it is recommended to have some experience in skiing first.<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong> Our instructors will safely guide you around and show you some of the best off-pistes in the area. They will adapt to your experience and the snow condition to safely try to meet your expectations. The instructor will prepare an itinerary and the safety equipment needed but also teaching you how to use this equpiment and the current safety rules that must be respected.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accomodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Backpacks with a set of safety equipment (avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes) are lent by the instructor. Ski-pass still needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>

<p><strong>Your skiing background :</strong> You have more than 10 weeks of experience under your skis. You are at ease on all types of terrain and wish to deepen your technical knowledge.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong>Improve your technical skills on the slopes, in the bumps, off-piste and on all types of snow. Travel the Alpe d'Huez area on and off piste. Become a more versatile skier and expand your knowledge of the mountain.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong>On the first day, you meet your instructor and your group in front of our Prosneige flag. It is possible that there are several groups in your level. In this case, the instructors will harmonize the groups according to the experience and desires of each one. Once the groups are homogeneous, your ski instructor will suggest exercises to get you back on track. During the week, you will discover the magnificent off-piste skiing of the region. The instructor will show you different exercises to practice carving turns or other types of advanced techniques and positions.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> Class 4 adult ski group lessons are limited to 7 people. Everyone progresses at their own pace, and you have the option to change groups during the week. The adult group ski lessons are excellent for progress. Indeed, the daily sessions allow you to come back on difficulties encountered the day before, and to improve technical points of your skiing. The group will be encouraging, and will help you challenge yourself</p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass is needed. Don't forget to take some water and snacks to keep your energy level up !!<br></p>
