Prosneige at Méribel

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your children have skied in between 2 and 4 weeks already. They are confident on blue slopes and start to turn parallel.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Make parallel turns on blue slopes, master the side slipping technique, anticipate ground movements and be able to do some skating to move around. Ski with poles and know how to use them.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the 2nd Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a blue slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back on easy slopes. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Those exercises will facilitate their parallel turns on blue slopes. Regarding the evolution, they will get introduced to red slopes. They will speak more in depth of the Safe skiers rules. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The 2nd ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. They can also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony takes place on fridays, at our Ski School meeting point. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget the ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child already has a couple of days to a week of experience. They know how to put their skis on, and get up by themselves. They can snowplough turn and stop on green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Do Snowplough turns on green slopes, discover what “Parallel skis” means, move around easily with skis on using side stepping and duck climb.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to know the instructors and the other members of the White Bear level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize in front of our school. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. As they learn new skills and improve during the week, they will practice with their instructor on green and blue slopes as well as the fun park. They will be using cabinlifts and chairlifts. The beginner ski pass is mandatory from the first day. <br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The White Bears group lessons are limited to a maximum of 7 children. <p><strong>your instructor :</strong> You have chosen to take a private lesson with Giacomo PIFERI. Giacomo and the Prosneige team are looking forward to your arrival in Méribel. .<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong>Private lessons are an excellent way to make quick progress. You tell the instructor your goals and desires and he will create a personalized lesson plan for you. Whether you want to learn carving or snowplowing. You want to surpass yourself in off-piste, in the snowpark, or on a blue slope. You simply want to discover the 3 Valleys ski area alone or with your family for a day... You are in the right place. The instructor will guide you throughout the day and share with you his favorite exercices, itineraries in his playground.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> From 9:00am to 5:00pm depending on your wants and needs, you decide how long and what time suits you best.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accommodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>

<p><strong>Your experience :</strong> Not for complete beginners, it is recommended to have some experience in snowboarding first.<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong> Our instructors will safely guide you around and show you some of the best off-pistes in the area. They will adapt to your experience and the snow condition to safely try to meet your expectations. The instructor will prepare an itinerary and the safety equipment needed but also teaching you how to use this equpiment and the current safety rules that must be respected.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accomodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Backpacks with a set of safety equipment (avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes) are lent by the instructor. Ski-pass still needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>
