Prosneige at Val Thorens

<p><strong>your instructor :</strong> You have chosen to take a private lesson with Charles PINGUENET. Charles and the Prosneige team are looking forward to your arrival in Val Thorens. .<br> <strong>Lesson goals :</strong>Private lessons are an excellent way to make quick progress. You tell the instructor your goals and desires and he will create a personalized lesson plan for you. Whether you want to learn carving or snowplowing. You want to surpass yourself in off-piste, in the snowpark, or on a blue slope. You simply want to discover the 3 Valleys ski area alone or with your family for a day... You are in the right place. The instructor will guide you throughout the day and share with you his favorite exercices, itineraries in his playground.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> From 9:00am to 5:00pm depending on your wants and needs, you decide how long and what time suits you best.<br> </p><p><strong>More :</strong> The customized offer is adapted to the client's needs. You can set the meeting point with your instructor directly in front of your accommodation and even choose the instructor you would like. </p> <strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass needed, you might bring a snack, a bottle of water and a camera for the memories.<br>

<p><strong>Skiing background :</strong> Your child already has a couple of days to a week of experience. They know how to put their skis on, and get up by themselves. They can snowplough turn and stop on green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Do Snowplough turns on green slopes, discover what “Parallel skis” means, move around easily with skis on using side stepping and duck climb.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, your child gets to know the instructors and the other members of the White Bear level. As they learn new skills and improve during the week, they will practice with their instructor on green and blue slopes as well as the fun park. They will be using cabinlifts and chairlifts. The beginner ski pass is mandatory from the first day. <br> <strong>More :</strong> During these hours the slopes are less occupied, allowing you to progress with serenity. Beginner Mini group lessons are limited to a maximum of 4 children. Everybody progresses at their own paces and you have the opportunity to change groups during the week. You can also enjoy some breaks and warm yourself up with a hot cocoa in our chalet on the slope. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget your sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Your experience :</strong> A couple of days to 1 week. You already know how to snowplough turns and stop on easy green slopes.<br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Confidently managing your speed, learning how to drift on skis and keeping them in a parallel position. Comfortably skiing on blue slopes.<br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> The instructor will show you different exercises to practice the parallel turns and stops on blue slopes. You will gain confidence and skills to get safely to the next level.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Everyday from 12:30 to 14:30, during lunchtime.<br> <strong>More :</strong> During these hours the slopes are less occupied, allowing you to progress with serenity. The adult Special Class 1 lessons are limited to a maximum of 5 adults. Everybody progresses at their own paces and you have the opportunity to change groups during the week. </p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Ski-pass is needed. Don't forget your sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>

<p><strong>Skiing background : </strong> Your child has skied between 3 to 5 weeks already. They ski in parallel on blue slopes and already have had a first experience on red slopes. Skates to move around if needed, and anticipate changing terrain. <br> <strong>Goals of the week :</strong> Parallel turns, both short and long on red slopes. Learning new techniques to improve parallel stopping. Your child will identify where it is safe to stop on the slopes, and regulate their speed according to his environment. <br> </p><p><strong>Week's program :</strong> On the first day, they get to know their instructors and the other children of the 3rd Ski level. All the groups will start together, warmup and harmonize on a blue or easy red slope. The groups will be defined by the levels and age of the children. During the first half day your child will get his technique and confidence back on easier slopes. Day after day, they will learn new skills thanks to the exercises and games set up by the instructor. The group will practice on different terrains that will help the children improve while having fun. Those exercises will facilitate their parallel turns and stops on red slopes by improving the position.<br> </p><p><strong>Hours :</strong> Sunday (first day) from 10:00 to 12:00, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00.<br> <strong>More :</strong> The 3rd ski group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 children. Everybody progresses at their own pace and children have the opportunity to change groups during the week. Children will also enjoy some breaks and warm themselves up with a hot cocoa. The traditional medal awarding ceremony takes place on fridays, in front of the Ski School.</p> <p><strong>Remarks :</strong> Don't forget their ski-pass for the chairlifts, a little snack in their pocket for the break and sunscreen for the sunny days!<br></p>
