Objective: Preparation for the technical test with a view to obtaining the state alpine skiing diploma

A season of training with the Prosneige Training centre will give you the best possible chance of success in your professional project to become a ski instructor. The DE-alpine skiing course. We will support you on a daily basis until the big day. Registration for the technical test is scheduled for early January and again at the end of March. Trainees must register on the website https://www.gepafom.fr/jsra/login. They will be asked to provide a medical certificate stating that they are fit to practise skiing and related sports in competition and to teach them.

The 2024-2025 intake had 9 trainees. The average score given to the training course in the satisfaction surveys is 8/10.

Cost: €5,400

This training programme includes 14 weeks of training, a season ski pass, a pass to the Les Menuires sports centre, and access to our workshop and trainee facilities.

The method used is the French ski teaching method (https://mementoski.com/). Assessments include timed slaloms, technical evaluations and VMA tests.
If you pass the technical test in January, you will join the preparatory cycle and Eurotest (CTT) preparation group.

Prerequisites:

• Demonstrate a skiing level equivalent to Chamois.
• Be in good physical condition.

Terms and conditions of admission:

• Be at least 17 years of age.
• Submit a registration request by email to sam@prosneige.fr: attach your CV and cover letter in PDF format.
• You will then be sent a training admission questionnaire.
• A telephone interview will then be scheduled before your application is validated by the organisation sending you the training contract.
• Access timeframe: 1 month (between initial contact and confirmation of enrolment)
• If funding is required, enrolment must be completed before the end of October.
